To avail warranty please have a proof purchase that will be the invoice provided by
your retailer and make sure to upload it on the warranty portal.
We are providing 2 years of warranty with no hidden charges for both XS-400 and i5-
400 models.
The after sales services will only be provided by your retailer.
Warranty is only valid for original customers on unit sold by Wave or authorised
Wave dealers and distributors. Never attempt to get the machine repaired by any
local
technician or else the warranty will be voided automatically.
The warranty covers all the components of the machine. The RO membrane and RO
Pump will be replaced only once during the warranty period, if the RO Membrane or
the RO Pump is to be replaced again then it will be done on payable basis only.
After the warranty period if the customer does not go for the extended warranty
offer
then the customer has to pay visiting charges to the technician and for the
components
repaired or replaced. (as per applicable)
Warranty is non transferrable.
All products sold are non-refundable.
All disputes are subject to Delhi jurisdiction.
Repair or replacement must be carried out by authorised personnel only during the
warranty period.
In case of any repair or replacement of the component/s of the machine, this
warranty
will therefore continue and will remain in force only for the unexpired period of
the
warranty.
For the unit installed beyond municipal limits of the jurisdiction of the company’s
authorised service centre, an on-site service will not be possible, so in that case
the
customer will send the machine to the company’s premises for repair or replacement,
Wave will not charge any cost for the repaired or replaced component if the machine
is under warranty period. This is also valid if your retailer is not providing you
with
after sales services. (Local transportation charges may vary from location to
location
and will be borne by the customer only)
The company or the company’s authorised dealer / distributor has the right to retain
any defective component of the machine during the warranty period.
This warranty will be automatically terminated on the expiry of the warranty period.
The customer can further opt for extended warranty before the warranty period
expires, even if Wave’ product or any part may not be in use for any time during the
warranty period for any reason.
It is sole responsibility of the customer to provide necessary support to the
company
or to the authorised dealer / retailer, if the unit to be installed is not suitable
for the
installer or the service technician to reach.
Input water TDS must be less than 2000 PPM.
Hardness of input water must be less than 100 PPM.
Inlet water pressure must be 10 < 30 psi.
Do not remove wave warranty hologram seals.
Make sure at the time of servicing the technician or the retailer provides and
installs original wave components only.
This water purifier must be used for household purpose only.
Make sure the machine is correctly installed as directed in the manual book
When LPS indication comes it means there is no water or low pressure of rooftop
supply water so please switch off the machine and again turn it on.
Any liquid or hard damage is not covered under warranty.
LOU - it indicates system is being used over the limit. Switch off and again turn on
the machine.

Damage or failure caused by any unauthorised modifications or alterations or if it
is
used for other than the intended purpose or caused by improper or reckless use then
the warranty will be terminated.
Any failure due to voltage / fluctuation beyond specified tolerance will not be
covered
under warranty.
Warranty does not cover repair or replacement of any external accessories supplied
by
Wave irrespective whether the same is manufactured by Wave or installed by some
other retailer & configuration of drivers, network & hardware optimizations, cabling
or connection.
Do not remove the barcode which is pasted on the side of the machine.
Any defects, damage, malfunction or failure resulting from alterations, accident,
misuse,
abuse (viz, spurious/fake accessories, scratches on screen, forcible attachment into
USB port
resulting in damage of pins, using liquids or non-recommended cleaners on screen or
CDRom lenses etc.), fire, liquid
spillage, miss-adjustment of controls, use on an incorrect
voltage, power surges and dips, thunderstorm activity, acts of God, voltage supply
problems,
tampering or unauthorized repairs by any persons, use of defective or incompatible
accessories, the operation of a computer virus of any kind, exposure to abnormally
corrosive
conditions, improper installation, repair or maintenance or entry by any insect,
vermin or
foreign object in the Product. Improper repair includes use of parts not approved or
specified by Wave.
Warranty does not cover any compatibility or connectivity issue. (For i5-400)
If the water is supplied even when the RO(XS-400) or RO + lonizer (i5-400) has been
switched
off, the same may cause damage to machine parts. This will not be covered in the
warranty.
Damage caused due to run units on high TDS, dust particles, dirt elements or high
hardness
(Salty Water) can block and puncture the electrolysis chamber which can also affect
the
power supply of machine will not be covered in warranty in any manner.
Damage caused by Floods under the sink, or overhead plumbing leaks, which can cause
water to enter the machine. Please be sure you have no plumbing leaks before
installing
any
of the models, if later found then warranty will be voided.
Damages caused by any misuse or abuse, such as dropping the unit or knocking into
the unit
with heavy objects. Damages caused by lightning strikes, power surges, and faulty
circuitry in
customer's electrical systems or acts of God. The exterior finish on the machine or
faucet,
the finish is extremely durable and under normal use will last many years. Do not
use
harsh
detergents or scrubbing type sponges to clean the machine, a damp clean paper towel
followed by a dry paper towel will restore a perfect finish to the machine.
Damages caused by commercial type usage. Wave residential water purifier XS-400 and
RO +
Ionizers i5-400 are built to last however they are designed for residential use. For
the
purpose of this warranty, the company will consider commercial usage as letting the
machine
run for more than 30 minutes at a time or for more than 2 hours a day total. (This
usage
is ok
from time to time where special needs arise, but not as a daily routine.) It is
important to
note, the company does not expect residential use ionizers or water purifiers to
fail
under
mild commercial uses, but cannot honor the warranty for use not intended by
the manufacturer.
Damages caused by excessive or low water pressure. Be sure to have your water
pressure
checked before installing.
There are no express warranties except as listed above. The warranty is not
responsible for
incidental or consequential damage for or damages arising out of the use of any,
unauthorized attachment. All express and implied warranties, including the
warranties of
merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the applicable
warranty
period.
